All of these steps leading up to the wedding ceremony have changed radically in Quebec over the last 50 years. The major social changes in the 1960s changed the way people think for good.

The candidates are divided into three groups and sent to work with Stéphane Klein, a specialist in sugar artistry in Belfort, Christelle Brua, from Pré Catelan in Paris, and Pascal Lac in Nice.
        The third and final event for the first programme is a competition between Brice, the two Guillaumes and Ophélie. One of them will be eliminated after an event designed by Pierre Marcolini. The candidates are invited to give their interpretation of "le Merveilleux", a cake from Northern France based on meringue, Chantilly cream and chocolate shavings.
